I've switched phones about 4 times in the last 6 months.
My first phone, the Blackberry Pearl 8100 was good, but slow on the internet (I have T-mobile, so that's probably it) and it was very dependable. Our surveyor wanted it, and I thought I would upgrade to 3g. Now he wont give it back!
So I got the Palm Treo 750: I HATE THIS PHONE. It freezes up all the time. I have pinpointed the issue to it not having a decent amount of internal memory needed to run Winblows Mobile 6.0 on it. I couldn't answer a single call and it would not hold my emails without popping up with a million "low memory" screens. It got on my nerves to the point I wanted to throw it out the window on the freeway (but I refrained, for the sake of protecting the environment, I am an avid recycler).
Next phone is the iPhone. I have to say, for the amount of money it costs, NOT WORTH IT. The camera on it is crap. The shutter speed couldnt be slower, and its really annoying that everytime I put it in my purse or pocket a bunch of buttons are pushed. I am just not impressed, as I thought I would be. I got it because I have a video iPod and my '08 scion syncs with iPod.. turns out my video iPod has over 50 gigs of music on it, so I still use it for those long journeys to pick up my baby in Louisianna, plus it has her cartoons on it (mickey mouse and little einsteins).
So now I have ordered the new Google phone, and will sell the Treo on ebay, with a huge disclaimer about the problems I had with it, of course (I am such a nice ebayer). Anyone got the Google phone yet from T-Mobile? I know it will run the same OS as the Treo, which worries me, but hopefully they had the brains to either put more internal memory, or teach it to use the mini SD as expansion. And of course, there is always the option of bribing our surveyor to switch phones with me.. hehe
